Are you already a keen home labber who wants to use your knowledge to help us improve the york.pub online services?\n\nThis week we'll be introducing the architecture of the york.pub servers\, providing an overview of the tools we use and talking about how you can get involved for real! We'll then give you a login and show you how you can use Ansible\, Podman and Linux Containers (LXCs) to deploy a piece of open source software (Firefly-iii\, personal finance manager). These are some of the key technologies we use to manage the york.pub services so if you're already an expert then come along and we can launch you straight into some of the open issues for the york.pub infra. 🏗️\n\nPlease make sure to bring a laptop to this event because we couldn't book a computer room. 💻\n\n
